Read Idaho County Court Dockets
Start with the case number and caption, then compare the hearing type to the court level. A felony preliminary hearing may be in the Magistrate Division, while a felony trial belongs in District Court. A probate or mental-health setting may be a magistrate-level matter even though it appears in the District Court system. A traffic docket can also connect to Make Payments, but payment eligibility does not always mean the court date can be ignored.
Event words also matter. A motion is a request for court action. An order is a judge's directive. A disposition is the case or charge outcome. A judgment is a final decision or money award. A bench warrant is usually tied to failure to appear or noncompliance. These terms can appear in event summaries without the full document being visible online.
For dockets that do not appear online, use the fallback chain: search Smart Search, check hearing search by a different field, contact the District Court office, use the courthouse kiosk, or submit a clerk request for copies. Public-records forms can help with non-court county records, but court-case records should be requested through the court clerk where filed.
